RITERP
The college's enterprise system, built by a seven-person student team.
RIT ERP runs the institute's day-to-day administration: students, staff, courses, exams, fees, leave, the library, stores and accreditation. It was built by the RIT ERP Engineering Team, and I'm one of its seven listed developers.
This was a team build. The page describes the system we shipped together, not a count of modules that were mine alone.

The system
Fourteen modules, each its own Django app
Every part of running the college got its own app on a shared Django codebase, from admissions to the data centre.
- Students, faculty, courses and examinations: profiles, subject allocation, marks and results.
- Fees reconciled against the online payment gateway, plus leave and OD approvals routed through the chain.
- Library, stores and lab stock, anonymous feedback cycles, and the NBA accreditation data visits ask for.
- User accounts with role-aware permissions, session security and an audit trail.

How it came together
From one login screen to every department
The team shipped it in four phases.
- One portal for students, faculty and parents, with role-aware routing and a permission layer underneath.
- Courses, attendance, exams and results moved off spreadsheets into structured, auditable models.
- Pay slips, no-dues forms and certificates generated as PDFs with the same letterhead every time.
- Fees, library, stores, feedback, the data centre and accreditation brought online until all fourteen modules were live.

What it taught me
Working on a codebase that isn't only mine
RIT Canvas is a solo build. The ERP is the opposite: seven people, one Django project, shared models and a production system the whole institute depends on. It's where I learned to work inside conventions someone else set, review before merging, and ship changes that don't break a live office.
