The institute's own course platform. I built its exams and the invigilation behind them.
RIT REACH is Ramco's NPTEL-style course platform, built by two developers. Students follow courses week by week, sit proctored exams and earn certificates. My part was the assessment side: exams with live invigilation, grading, departments and analytics.
A shared build. Sign-in for existing college accounts, watch tracking and certificates were written by my co-developer; the exam system, invigilation, grading and analytics were mine.

The platform
Courses the institute runs itself
Faculty draft a course, it goes through approval, and students follow it week by week. Thirteen admin pages run the catalogue, departments and results.
- Courses move from draft to pending to approved before students ever see them.
- A lecture counts after 90% watch time, and jumping ahead in the video doesn't add to it.
- Certificates are issued once per learner and course, each with its own serial number.

My part
Exams that keep an eye on the room
I added the exam system in one release: 8 new tables and about 10,000 lines covering exams, invigilation, departments, grading and analytics.
- Four question types: single choice, multiple choice, short answer and long answer.
- Every attempt gets its own seeded shuffle of questions and options, so neighbours don't see the same paper.
- Invigilation takes webcam stills, checks fullscreen, blocks copy and paste, and auto-submits after repeated violations.
- Each attempt's deadline is its start time plus the exam length, capped at the exam's closing time.
